Karen Gerrard Broker/Manager

Karen Gerrard, Broker, has been licensed in real estate since 1973.  Karen has an extensive background of selling, managing, and even owned her own real estate brokerage for ten years.  As a Vice Chair of the Professional Standards Committee at Toronto Real Estate Board, she is very up to date on the MLS rules and regulations and the new REBBA 2002. Karen loves her profession and enjoys helping her salespeople to succeed. She is always looking for high energy, hard working, dedicated people to join the team.  Her honest, down-to-earth nature are blended with a sincerity and empathy for people, creating a rare and winning combination that truly inspires her group.  With a slogan of "Passion for People" Karen will coach you to succeed!!


 

Susan Crawford
Broker/Manager

Aurora Office

Susan earned her real estate license in 1988 after successful careers in teaching and retail banking. In 1992 she obtained her broker's license and in 1995 received her MVA designation (Market Value Appraiser).  She has always been a strong supporter of continuing education for real realtors.

Susan has been actively involved in organized Real Estate throughout her career, volunteering on various committees at the York Region Real Estate Board and serving as a director for four years. Her passion is recruiting and training new agents and seeing them evolve into confident, successful professionals.  Accessible, knowledgeable, articulate and kind, Susan is truly cherished by the Reps on her team. 



 

Chris Paterson
Broker/Manager

North Office

Chris began his long and rewarding career in Real Estate in the late 1970’s with a smaller brokerage before moving to A.E. LePage. He was then fast-tracked in 1982 to become the Manager of a recently opened Royal LePage Office in Richmond Hill.

His qualifications are impressive, including his F.R.I. (Fellow of the Real Estate Institute) and more recently the C.M.R. designation.  According, his Sales are impressive and continue and continue to excel.

Starting with 24 Salespeople, his current team has grown to close to 50 people.  And as the oldest office in the Your Community Roster, his office sales volume continues to be a leader for per agent sales ratios. 

Chris is an extremely active member of the community belonging to such groups as Richmond Hill Chamber of Commerce and serving as a consultant to several major banks for real estate related matters.  Chris’s wife of more than 25 years, Diane, and their daughter Loren enjoy being very active in various York Region Highland Dance Programs.


 

Terry Macey Broker/Manager

Thornhill Office

Terry has been in the real estate industry for over 25 years.  A former instructor in Adult Education for the Toronto Board of Education and the York Region Board of Education, she is presently a part-time Instructor in the Continuing Education Division for the Ontario Real Estate Association, using her instructor skills to help train our new sales people.  Terry is a Broker and presently the Manager of the "White House", our Thornhill office located in the heart of Old Thornhill.  

Considered as a master of negotiations, Terry has a seemingly endless and encyclopedic amount of knowledge to offer Sales Reps both new and seasoned, and is highly regarded by all for her years of experience “in the front lines” of Real Estate.



 

Bill Mitkos

With over 30 years experience in Real Estate Sales, Mortgage Financing and Appraisals, Bill offers sales representatives impeccable support.

 

His vast experience in vital areas of Real Estate are only the beginning of the long list of Bill’s attributes.  Your Community Realty’s own version of “The King of Kensington”, Bill is renowned for knowing a great number of those he encounters while walking the streets of Central Toronto, always with a warm and genuine smile on his face, greeting people along the way. 

 

His eagerness to help others has garnered him an enviably massive network of colleagues related to the industry, a legacy Bill generously passes along to his Sales Reps to their great benefit!

 

Bill is also popular among his peers for knowing much about good food and where to find a caterer for any occasion!

Broker’s Designation in 1978.  He managed Guardian Real Estate from 1981 – 1983, then moved on to manage MFS Realty, also operating as a Power of Sales Specialist for Canada’s major banks and financial institutions from 1990-1995. In 1992 Gregory also obtained his Mortgage Broker’s License.

 

In 2002 Gregory became Manager of Head Office -Your Community Realty’s largest location. 

 

Gregory has an obvious passion for all the Sales Reps under his wing and believes in an “open door policy”.  As such, he has earned a long list of grateful Sales Reps who greatly admire his dedication, commitment and tirelessly giving nature (and has been known to save deals for his Reps by accepting calls well into the night!).  Gregory is also an enthusiastic supporter of Real Estate Continuing Education and practices what he preaches by attending an impressive number of on-going accreditations each year.

 

In his spare time, Gregory enjoys boating, performing classical music and playing with his grandson, Jack, and singing to his granddaughter Gracie.
