Michelle Risi

Raised in an environment surrounded by real estate and land development, Michelle’s entry into the Real Estate Industry has come as naturally to her as breathing.
She landed her first real estate related job in 1990, working the reception desk when the brokerage was then known as Canada Trust Real Estate. For the next 6 years she would juggle this part-time position with schoolwork that earned her top marks.
In fact, Michelle’s entire education was achieved around her work hours and includes a York University 4-year Specialized Honors B.A Degree in Kinesiology (BA Kin Spec. Hons with the intention at that time of becoming a doctor); an ECE teaching diploma from Seneca College graduating with High Honors; a Small Business Management Diploma from Seneca College; and, of course, her OREA Real Estate License.
After 6-years front desk experience, she moved into Administration/Deals Department/Human Resources. She was invigorated by assuming much more responsibility and spent the next 10 years assisting with closing transactions, taking care of bank reconciliations, helping implement successful brokerage policies and a host of other administrative tasks.
Like her mother, Michelle has tremendous vision and knows how to take an idea – even the seed of one – an enthusiastically pursue it. Through the years Michelle’s met challenges head- on with a host of insightful options and strategies that deliver optimum resolution and performance.
Her invaluable experience and first-hand exposure to the various essential elements of Real Estate brokerage-ship has become a solid foundation that fully enables her to excel as Vice President of Business and Project Development.
Michelle loves working with people, teaching them new things, organizing and developing their ideas. As the coordinator of our fabulous new Real Estate Academy she’s in her element!
